"Birding like you've never experienced before!"
Drift and Float and Hunt for birds with your binoculars on Pangaea's Bird Watching Float
Birding on the Spokane River near Spokane, Washington
Birding Like You've Never Done Before!
The Spokane River is famous for the whitewater in Riverside State Park, but little is mentioned about the more
mellow and equally scenic stretch of river just a few miles up-river from Riverside State Park.
Drift and Bird
Drift in the deep cool eddies inside our dry, steady rafts as you spot for birds in rich and varying habitat
along the banks. Our trips start early, 7:00 am, so dress warm and eat a good breakfast as we take our time
drifting down the Spokane River.
Perfect
Birding from a raft is one of the most ideal ways to bird. You can cover a lot of ground while moving almost
unnoticeable between constantly changing habitat.
You will be provided life jackets, guides, river equipment and drinks. All you have to bring is warm clothes,
binoculars, field guides and Pangaea will provide everything else. Your guide rows, pulling over as much as you
want while you bird from the raft.
Cover miles and miles of birding habitat
