Roller Coaster Drops Keep The Fun Coming All Day Long!

Some of the river's best rapids lie three miles downstream of Russell Gates near the Bear Creek bridge pilings. Enjoy roller-coaster drops with big rocks and high waves. Most drops are followed by big pools, allowing time to swim and sight-see. Class I and Class II water are at late season flows, but when the mountain snows start melting, the Blackfoot River bumps up to Class III during runoff.
